Specialising in visual marketing for tourism, corporate, and events.
Hi! I'm Lisa, and this is a quick introduction and little bit of background. I'm a small business operator south of Sydney on the NSW south coast and I've been a qualified graphic designer for over 25 years, working across a diverse array of industries including packaging, tourism, local government and events.

Graphic designer with solid, broad experience and customer care
Back when I was still a student at Sydney's Enmore Design Centre I found a listing in the yellow pages for an eastern suburbs boutique studio, and called to ask for some work experience. Little did I know I'd spend the next 15 years working with that family business learning about providing a great customer experience and all aspects of graphic design, a solid start to my career. I've since designed inhouse and freelance for a range of clients, and after relocating to the south coast, became the first inhouse designer for the Shoalhaven region destination marketing team. After 6 years I felt the call to go freelance again, wanting to use my skills and experience to help more local businesses, and so began Lisa Friebel Graphic Designer.
Collaborating with clients and a professional network
Now I work with clients to bring their projects to life, empowering organisations to project a professional image, speak to their target audience, and support their brand. My mission is to improve communication between client and designer, and to provide a service accessible to small business and community groups. I have a very collaborative approach, fostering connections with other graphics designers, and a professional network in photography, marketing, printing, signage, and Aboriginal consultation for culturally safe projects. Through maintaining these partnerships I aim to provide a service that not only exceeds client expectations, but creates a business community supporting continuity.
